One HBCU classic game will not be played this season.
The New York Urban League Classic has been cancelled, officials announced.
In a two paragraph letter addressed to Morgan State Athletics Director Floyd Kerr, NYUL notified the school of the cancellation.
Officials indicated that he anticipated having the game in 2016.
The 43rd edition of the game was supposed to feature Howard against Morgan State.
The NYUL Classic website reports that proceeds from the game have helped raise over $20 million for college bound students.
