The annual MEAC/SWAC Challenge, which has been dominated by the MEAC over the past decade, is set for 2015.
South Carolina State is scheduled to play Arkansas-Pine Bluff Sept. 5 in Orlando, Fla.
South Carolina State will be making its third appearance in the game since its inception.
The Bulldogs won the first MEAC/SWAC Challenge in 2005 with a 27-14 over Alabama State. South Carolina State won again in 2009, beating Grambling State 34-31.
Arkansas-Pine Bluff, who finished in last place in the SWAC West in 2014, will represent the conference for the first time.
The MEAC is 8-2 all-time in the series, including four straight wins dating back to 2011.
