Even though Alabama State has failed to live up to preseason expectations to win the SWAC East, head coach Reggie Barlow is being rewarded.
Barlow, whose Hornets have lost four straight to fall to 4-5 this season, is reportedly set to receive a contract extension that will pay him $172,000 through 2017.
Barlow is 46-41 in eight seasons at Alabama State with a 2010 SWAC East division championship under his belt.
