Freddie Coleman is battling complications due to a brain stem tumor.
According to his mother, he doesn’t smile very much.
But the with the help of the Jackson State football team, Freddie, 11, had the opportunity to don a Tigers jersey and just be one of the guys.
In a beautiful story published by a local Jackson TV station, Freddie’s day with the JSU football team was chronicled.
The young boy was given his own locker, a jersey and made honorary team captain.
