Jackson State women’s basketball quest to remain atop the SWAC may be a bit tougher after an important piece is apparently on the way out.
JSU guard Ti’lan Boler has reportedly entered the transfer portal.

The senior guard was the Tigers’ second-leading scorer during the 2023-24 season, averaging 12.1 points per contest, just behind Andriana Avent, who put up 12.2 points per game. Bolar reached double figures in 22 of the 32 games she appeared in, scoring a season-high 25 points against UConn in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
Boler was named co-SWAC Player of the Week for her efforts in victories over Grambling State on Feb. 3 and Southern on Feb. 5, in which she combined for 34 points and 13 rebounds.
Boler’s play this season also earned her a spot on the All-SWAC First Team, along with teammate Miya Crump.
