The frustration level at Grambling reached an all-time high Tuesday night when a group of players walked out on a meeting with GSU president Frank Pogue and athletic director Aaron James, a person familiar with the situation confirmed Wednesday morning.
Pogue and James had planned to meet with the team ever since Doug Williams was fired back on Sept 11. That was more than a month ago, but the two administrators scheduled a 5 p.m. meeting Tuesday to discuss the state of Grambling football.
Clearly frustrated and unhappy with the Tigers’ 0-7 record, a “chunk” of players walked out.
