Grambling State welcomes a new addition to their defense after landing former Virginia edge rusher Jonathan Horton.

Horton played parts of three seasons for the Cavaliers, participating in 18 games. His best season was 2022, where he recorded three tackles and a forced fumble in nine games. Horton is returning to his home state of Louisiana, where he was rated a 4-star by 247Sports and a 3-star by Rivals during his time at Scotlandville Magnet High in Baton Rouge.
