I think so, Eddie George didn't have any experience. Eddie Robinson at Alabama State had no experience either.

Didn't Vick have a football camp at NSU recently? I don't remember any folks protesting there.

PETA, while having their multi story headquarters in Norfolk, they have no influence among the black population in the 7 cities of Hampton Roads. The other thing is that Vick has done alot of community service throughout the years, when it comes to animals, that PETA would be hard press to kick up a fuss even among the white population in the area.

I do expect PETA will say something, but I doubt it would change anything as far as support for Vick in the area.

He has been doing different camps and events for years and there was no sign of protesting at those events. Even his former High School brought back his jersey to the a place a honor at the school in the early 2000s.
