The annual MEAC/SWAC Challenge was in full effect once again to help kick off the HBCU football season.
This year’s contest featured North Carolina Central from the MEAC and Prairie View A&M from the SWAC.
Prairie View A&M won the football contest 40-24 to get its first win of the season.
There was also the halftime contest that featured the bands; the Marching Storm of PV and the Sound Machine of NCCU.
As is usually the case, there is no scoreboard to determine a halftime winner, but there are polls.

You know all games of HBCU’s aren’t on t.v. , so what about all of the other Games and Bands no matter who they played . Let’s do this right or not at all . How many Games did HBCU’s participate in the past week ?
Robert, reading is fundamental. The MEAC/SWAC Challange features only two teams. This poll features the two school from that event. What does this have to do with other HBCU games?
PVAMU
Nccu, smaller band, but much more entertaining
