Three Morgan State football players were reportedly stabbed while on campus Tuesday, school officials said.
The stabbing happened about 2 p.m. after a person was seen swinging a knife outside the facility, according to the Baltimore Sun.
Baltimore police said one player was stabbed in the chest and taken to an area hospital in serious condition. Two others were also treated for their injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
The stabbing victims have not been identified, the newspaper said.
Baltimore police are currently seeking a person of interest involved in the incident that may have been connected to a series of fights over the weekend at a campus event.
One person is in custody, police said.
