500k is the amount the CITY is giving each school… thats not the total payout. I dont understand how this confuses people.$500,000 for each school is a RIP OFF! 1 million for each school should be the starting figure! Can anyone share with me why $500,000 is an appealing number for the economic impact for what AAMU and ASU brings to Birmingham? I am willing to learn..
They do street committee math, there is nothing you can do to bring reality to their lives. They are like the orange kool aid drinkers, math reality does not exist only math fantasy. Plus like most americans they dont understand economics.500k is the amount the CITY is giving each school… thats not the total payout. I dont understand how this confuses people.
The city revenue isnt 25 million…. Economic impact and city revenue are two totally different things… I thought we all knew that.So what is the total payout to each university excluding the $500k from B'ham? I assure you we will never know because they (i.e. Brunos, Gene Hallman, the City) will not open the books to permit both universities to see the numbers . Furthermore, both universities should have been receiving $500k years ago with the Classic being 80 plus years, and the City revenues over $25 million.
The Bayou Classic and the Orange Blossom Classic universities are receiving $1 million plus and they are not the oldest or the most attendance.
Thank you for the information. What is the total payout?500k is the amount the CITY is giving each school… thats not the total payout. I dont understand how this confuses people.
Please enlighten me. I am willing to learn. Within your explanation, could you in addition, provide the total payout numbers?People don't understand economic impact versus revenue generated by the actual game.
PREACH! The points that you bring up is what the ASU and AAMU alumni and fans would like answered. The bottom line is if the total payout is not $500, 000, what is it?So what is the total payout to each university excluding the $500k from B'ham?
