AUGUSTA, Ga. — The Paine College athletic department officially unveiled its athletic rebranding initiative that will impact its 10 sports and boost its merchandise sales.
“We are thrilled about our rebranding initiative,” says director of athletics, Selina Kohn. “The new logos gives us a unified look and represents a fresh opportunity that our student-athletes, alumni and the entire Paine College community can rally behind.”
The process began in January, which included input from administration, coaches, current student-athletes and alumni. The new primary logo features a proud Lion head and claws with the Paine College Lions word mark underneath while the new secondary logo features the proud Lion head and claws with a “P” overlaying a “C” representing Paine College. PC teams will start wearing the new logos this fall on practice gear and uniforms.
Watertown, Wisconsin based Designs by Hahn, which specializes in sports identity developed and designed the new logos.
Along with the new marks, PC will launch a redesigned website and new online fan shop utilizing the new branding in October.
