Alcorn State has fired the head baseball coach and soccer coach sources told HBCU Sports.
Barret Rey was the SWAC Coach of the Year in 2011, leading Alcorn State to a conference championship.
Alcorn State finished the 2015 season with a dismal 16-40 record and 7-18 in SWAC play.
The school also will let go head soccer coach Christie Chambers-Brandon after four seasons at the helm, sources indicated.
