Pine Bluff, Ark. – Alabama A&M rode the hot shooting of Rebekkah Barnes throughout the first half as she finished with a team high 14 points Saturday in a 69-59 victory at Arkansas-Pine Bluff. Barnes’ shooting helped the Bulldogs build a lead in the first half, and they held on for the 10-point win with clutch free throw shooting from Christian Malone. Malone finished the night with 13 points.
The win was the second straight for A&M and moves the Bulldogs to 8-11 overall and 6-4 in the SWAC. Alabama A&M will travel Monday to Mississippi Valley State with a 5:30 p.m. tip.
