Mickell Gladness, C, Alabama A&M

• Over two games, Gladness averaged 19 points, 10.5 rebounds, 3.5 blocks and 2.0 steals. He finished both games with double-double performances.
• At Alcorn State, he tallied 19 points, 10 rebounds, two steals, and two blocks – versus Southern, he fi nished with 19 points, 11 rebounds, fi ve blocks, and two steals

Newcomer of the Week
Brandon Brooks, G, Alabama State
(6-2, 180, Jr., Dallas, Texas)
• Brooks averaged 12 points, seven rebounds and 1.5 assists in two games – both won by Alabama State.
• He had 16 points and six rebounds at Alcorn State and 12 points, eight rebounds, and three assists at Southern.

SWAC Notable Performances
Brian Ezeh, Prairie View A&M
– Averaged 15 points. 6.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists and two steals in two games over the weekend.
Andrew Hayles, Alabama State
– Averaged 16 points, three rebunds, 1.5 assists and 0.5 steals in two games played.
Anthony Williams, Grambling State
– Tallied 27 points, ten rebounds, one assist and one block against Jackson State
George Davis, Arkansas-Pine Bluff
– Averaged 14.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, one assist and 1.5 blocks in two games played.
Darrion Griffi n, Jackson State
– Against Grambling State, he fi nished with 21 points, six rebounds, two assists and two steals.
Aaron Smith, Prairie View A&M
– Averaged 12.5 points, 0.5 rebounds and 0.5 assists in two games over the weekend.
Matthew Miller, Texas Southern
– In two games played, he averaged 14.5 points, 1.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and a steal.
