Y da Swac isn't elgible for Bowl Game?

I have been pushing for a game between the 1AA Champs and the SWAC Conference Champions. This would be an outstanding game to determine the 1AA Champs. Since the SWAC is the best in 1AA, this would be a great game and people would pay to see it.
 
Wouldn't it be Economic sound for the SWAC to be in the BCS system cause i'm quite sure they would make alot of money for the SWAC.

You know the SWAC Champion ain't no where near the Division 1 (formerly 1-AA) champs and don' t want to be.

The BCS is only for teams in the NCAA Bowl Division (formerly Division 1A). And the reason that the SWAC doesn't have a chance in the Division 1 playoffs is that the SWAC championship game isn't played until after the Division 1 championship game.

You are correct. Basically the SWAC receives a set amount of revenue (i.e. $250K) if the conference, as a whole, members offers a said minimum amount of scholarships over a given time period.

However, this thread is funny.

On another note, MD suggested this a while back and I thought it was funny but it could happen and it could make sense if we continue to snub the playoffs and improve to be a top 1-AA conference. If we could beat some PWC's in the season, send our 2nd place E or W team to playoffs, and they win some games or the whole thing...who would be the real 1-AA champion? The SWAC champ or the tourney champ? We are a long way from there now though but that would be nice.

As a Subdivision Championship Division I football member (formely I-AA), it was not an option for the SWAC as well as other conferences for that matter to be a part of the BCS system.
