Let's Go Lions, GO!

But I'll say this. It's EASY to read that list...
And Erica and I started off with good intentions. We had the conuseling prior to getting married. And we talked and communictaed with each other. And it wasn't enough.... I loved her and she loved me. And it wasn't enough... I prayed about it. And I know she prayed about it... And God sent me a good friend who helped learn what things to pray for. And I learned. And I asked God for understanding. I asked God for peace. And I asked God to remove the scales from my eyes so I could see the things I was doing (or not doing). I did all of that. I prayed and I worked. And I worked and I prayed.... And God granted me wisdom. And undertanding. And strength. And with those things I found peace.....
And with that peace, we decided to divorce. And we're better (today) because of it.... I'm a better father because of it. I'm a better friend because of it. I'm a better person because of it... Getting a divorce was GOOD for us. I'm not bitter. She's not bitter. In fact, we're becoming better friends (now) than we were before we got married...
So to anybody who wants to quote scripture in order to validate their point about marriage being ordained by God, I say this: GOD ordains alot of things. His work didn't stop after the Bible was written. His work continues....
And I'm proof of that.
Some people can't see the forest for the trees, Obra.
