Well you know I have been fussing about Graham’s contract talks since last year. I’m still worried about RT and C, but the Saints have proven they can find a star on the O-line even in the SWAC. So, the way this is starting to shape up Graham’s contract is not looking to be an issue since they signed Bird. The Saints put a non-exclusive franchise tag on Graham. Another team can sign Graham if they are willing to give him top dollar plus give up two number 1s and a number 2 with the Saints having the opportunity to match. If another team doesn’t offer him a contract, we can kind of give him what we want in 2015, especially if we don’t make a nice run in 2014. Graham has to put up big numbers again in 2014 to have a shot at being the highest paid TE in 2015. But me personally, I rather have the two first round draft choices. Atlanta has an opening at TE now. Are they willing to give up $12 million a year to Graham plus two number 1s? You guys did give up 5 picks for Julio Jones who never put on a NFL uniform. I know you know the consequences of over-paying players with Atlanta’s track record. Maybe Lance Moore can get his money from Atlanta like Steven Jackson did.
Well Bigs, we don't need a TE. We're trying to solidify our lines (OL & DL) like you all should be trying to do.
So she calls folks MFers etc...then turns around and says "Praise God"...
:shame:
I understand where she is coming from because I never liked the way that some people learn about their job in professional sports. This takes away from it being a job and you are viewed as property. It's like being fired from a job on twitter and you come to work unaware of the situation.
I learned a long time ago when money is concerned there is no such thing as "My word is my bond."
