I know the attendance was only 6,000... but you have to remember 25,000 people were tailgating.

Please tell me who love going to Shreveport anyway? Better yet. I will post the attendance from all games played there between our SWAC schools and I am willing to bet you that, the highest attended game was probably about 23k
 
Nah PB and Gram used to do numbers back in late 90s. If PV would have brought more fans it could have been 10k. You guys clowned us the other week for having low attendance in Shreveport. Why are people acting like this didn't happen 2 weeks ago lol

I can't find the SU vs PV 2003 or the year we played Valley there.

SU vs PV 2010 - 19,979
PV vs JSU 2011 - 17, 743
PV vs SU - 2012 - 12, 223
Alcorn vs Gram 2011 - 4,204 I don't know if this is correct but I know it was pouring down
Alcorn vs Gram 2012 - 15,000 - Not correct either

Nobody clowned JSU or UAPB for having low attendance numbers. Check the numbers I posted. The highest game in Shreveport was back in 2010. I knew JSU would bring a few amount because most of those people spent money on HC only for that game not to be played. But the argument is still pointless and fugging stupid because we were on the road on a Friday. Everybody said back a few months ago that it would not be a large turnout. I don't know what you all are so concerned about how many folks we bring to a game as if it helps you sleep at night. Nobody goes to Shreveport and I hope we don't play PV there next year. I'll be there but most people won't.

2nd :topic: Why has the SWAC done so poorly in Shreveport? It's a good size stadium and the casinos have entertainment for the adults. Plus the fair is good for the kids.

All this yap about attendance and RVs during the preseason but when the season happens you continue to fall short. Yall are not a good team and the fans know it. The season has started and your figures dont back up your mouths and we get all of these excuses. Even JR is asking why our fans didnt drive 4 hours to S'port but you have all of these excuses about why your BIG Houston fan base cant drive downtown to watch the great Jags.

If yall take 30k on the road, you woulda thought that maybe 10k would have shown up in Houston. But nooooo...
All we get is excuses excuses excuses...the damn game started at 8pm....thats plenty of time to get off work and attend
the game. Yall have more excuses than:

So GR, explain why we are leading the SWAC in attendance if our fans don't care? Even AAMU game in bad weather drew decently.

Coach Markham still lives in Montgomery right across the street from Huntingdon College. Every time I pass by his house he's usually working in the yard. Nice house in the garden district. You can see it from the street, because it's the first house on the corner off Woodley Road. He's been in the same house I believe since he's been in Montgomery. He still attend ASU games.

Look on college football data warehouse. SU vs Northwestern St in Shreveport attendance was 30,000 plus.

Yall talk all that shit about attendance and RVs but you can on get 5K in Houston. The only time Mumford sells out is when MightyJSU comes to town. Yall just need to shut up about attendance. its not really working out for yall

1. No, Grambling is trying to play a FCS in-state PWI in Shreveport.
2. Shreveport is very loyal to Grambling and somewhat SU, so unless a SWAC school has a strong travelling fanbase, the attendance for the game will be very low, but I do believe a JSU vs GSU game in Shreveport would be draw a lot of people !
