Not being difficult, just calling it how I see it. You guys brag about attendance and having a big fan base in Houston but the numbers didn't lie. Then you get upset when someone calls you out on that BS

Don't argue with GF right now. He is just being difficult. He knows the damn difference. He also saw all thread that said attendance was going to suffer with this game being on Friday when Lewis started the can we move the game back to Saturday thread. I think the local Jags and some who did make the trip did a good job. Since my boy C-leb said we had half and half fans. So 3K of them were Jags. I say 4K at the least. But regardless, no one can trip on our fan support on a Friday in Houston on the road. We still were equal to (TxSU folks version) to the home team support. If anything he should be asking TxSU what is wrong with their fan base. Surely there are more of their alums in Houston than SU has.

Prime example SU plays ASU but both schools still got JSU in their mouths.
you must be referring to when SU played Alcorn, cause unless I missed it, I haven't seen anything from us Alabama State folks. Just the usual BS from Jsu folks about every other school. But I guess you must have missed ALL of that.
:scared:

It is a coalition on this board against JSU. Prime example SU plays ASU but both schools still got JSU in their mouths. Like I said you guys boast and brag on attendance when you can only muster 6k. Its no way around it. Prime example of pot calling the kettle black....

Sheesh man, you know damn well that game was on a Friday. You can't even compare that to a Saturday game. And it wasn't our home game. We can talk attendance. That same sorry attended game on a Friday still did better than some at home or on the road with a Saturday game. That speaks volumes. You know damn well, you can't ding SU on attendance. Even in our down years we still have enough attendance to stay in mix of FCS rankings. Then you are trying to smack when folks said way before this game happened that TxSU was going to suffer from not the same amount of Jags coming down on a Friday night. You are being difficult now. I can see if this was a Saturday night game in Houston and it had the same amount of folks. You guys are actually self smacking because if you only drew a few fans more or less on Saturday then yall ought to be ashamed that a Friday night game did just as well.

So what was the excuse of JSU folks not making a 2-3 hour drive to Shreveport against a good PV team on a Saturday game in which folks could do a turn around if they liked?

We gone beat that azz, that is all..

Oh, this thread aint about us... Beat they azz SU, beat they azz.

What numbers lie? If we outnumbered TxSU in Houston this past Friday how can you call us out. Seems like our Houston based alums did turn out. Did they turn out in big numbers like they would have on Saturday? No. But they still outnumbered the HOME TEAM. This is what you are failing to realize. Our players did not have the feeling of playing on the road AT ALL.

JR, don't let me down twice in one season.

I know man. Still pissed about that game. Both teams could be in chill mode right now. But yall are good to go. All you need to do is beat Annie Mae. That should not be hard for JSU. Just run the ball and don't turn it over.

You are better than this C-leb. You got SU kinfolks.

JR, go back to that same thread and read where SU folks saying it didn't that it didn't matter that the game was on Friday cuz the Jags were still coming deep to H-town.

Like you always do, purposely skip over your own schools comments and focused only on the Jackson comments. I know your stuff lol

Umm JSU outnumbered PV but your fellow Jags wasn't trying to hear that. So I don't want to hear any excuses, save em. My opinion won't change, and I don't hate SU at all. I hate the silly comments...

So MH, you think JSU is going to lose to AAMU or Alcorn?
No, but that won't have any bearing on Barlow finishing in first in the East for the 4th year in a row. :scared:

btw, when PV beats Alcorn Thursday and ASU beats SU Saturday, how will the West look then?

Did V say that? I know Lewis, myself, and countless other Jags didn't. We said yall were going to lose out on money with that game being on Friday. Well I know I did. That's why folks kept asking for the game to be moved. I know we said our Houston alums would be enough to outnumber yall. I know that was said.

The one thing TBF has always had right. Folks have kids in too many activities on Friday nights so I knew damn well every SU Houston alum was not going to make it due to their kids being in the band, football, etc on Fridays. Same for my LB in Dallas who always comes down with the Dallas crew. There were more SU folks for the U of H game since it was a Holiday weekend on that Friday plus they had time to get ready for it way in advance.

It would be a tie with SU holding the tiebreak. No different if AAMU upsets JSU this weekend or if Alcorn beats JSU later on and ASU beats SU. The East would be tied with JSU holding the tiebreak edge over ASU.

SU needs to win 1 of 2 SWAC games to get to the SCG. We have to lose both of the games to not go if PV doesn't lose one. Same boat JSU is in. They need 1 game and can't lose both either. Unless we beat yall and PV beats Alcorn. Then they are in.

Southern always travel deep. They had about 30,000 fans in Houston. It's just that Texas Southern only had -24,000 to show up. That leaves you with 6,000. Hope that explains it. Southern takes at least 30,000 fans everywhere (except for home games).

We knew that. Didn't you see my post saying I don't understand why PV plays SU or JSU in Shreveport. They ain't bringing no fans to that game and essentially giving up home field in Texas to come to La where it ain't like they recruiting N La players like talking about.

MH, I am trying to understand the math. Help me out?

I guess he is saying Barlow is right at the top of the East even if he finishes in second place. Which is true. He has been in the top 2 for the last 4 years. That's why they can't fire him. LOL.
