Nah you need to stop making excuses. It seems like y'all practice this BS. You guys clowned JSU for having 5k attendance WHEN SU-TSU HAD 6K. You guys pack every thread dealing with attendance boasting and bragging. Its funny to me though, even funnier when you try to come in and clean up the stupid comments your fellow jags spew on a daily basis. You guys have been skating all season, its time for reality to set in.

I will use the same excuse everyone says when there is a day game. Folks have to get off work and make it 3 hours to Houston to see what? A game that the majority of Jag fans felt like SU would win. I got to give it to the Houston Jags. They showed up in a good number. Not the same number they would have on Saturday night. Folks do have kids who participate in HS football, cheerleading and band on Friday night. What TxSU missed out on was the folks coming in from La and the Dallas crew coming down for the weekend when we have played in Houston.

The drizzle had nothing to do with it in my opinion. It wasn't raining before the game. It started during the game. But TxSU fans are non existent. I don't know if they don't like the stadium, the ticket prices which are decent to me, or they just don't like the product on the field. This is second time I have seen them in that stadium and both times were bad attendance. I saw them against JSU last year and it seemed like it was more JSU folks there than TxSU. I don't know if that was the case. But that place is a nice stadium and I can't understand why they don't come out. Poor Chuck was walking around looking dismayed.

Difference being jSU was at home, SU is the road team.

I'm interested to see how spread out the SU fans are once they get a load of the ticket prices. I expect some to wind up in the grass as the end zone bleachers sell out pretty quickly. Yeah but also the ticket prices are crazy. Plus when folks go to buy online, they say most of the sections are gone. Only sections left are the few closer to the scoreboard. I don't know what is up with that.

When did JSU have 5k?
 
You wouldn't have to sit in the grass. I saw where SU band will be there. They will probably be in section 132. There are plenty seats available in section 131, section 130.

Thanks. But I thought it would be 122 right across from Bama St band. I know they sat on the visitor side for the PV game but since SU is coming I think they would move back on that side. I don't know. I'll call and ask.

Are you talking about the game against PV in S'Port on a Saturday evening vs a game in Houston on a Friday night? Heck I live here and almost didn't make it. I got there in the 2nd Q and that's after leaving a kid-related prior committment early.

ASU's band and student sections are on the north side of the stadium. The same side that SU's band will be.

What excuses. I think us providing the amount of fans on a FRIDAY that was better than some who play on a SATURDAY speaks volumes. Man you guys need to face it. You don't like SU. You got the same amount of JSU fools who spit none stop bullisht all the time Frat. And it has been like that for years and its get cosigned to the nth degree. Then get mad and say folks have a damn coalition against JSU folks. LOL. You know I ain't lying. I can pull up threads from years of this happening. But then now some of yall get mad when SU have some folks to do the same as many JSU posters have done. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. C'mon man.

Don't argue with GF right now. He is just being difficult. He knows the damn difference. He also saw all thread that said attendance was going to suffer with this game being on Friday when Lewis started the can we move the game back to Saturday thread. I think the local Jags and some who did make the trip did a good job. Since my boy C-leb said we had half and half fans. So 3K of them were Jags. I say 4K at the least. But regardless, no one can trip on our fan support on a Friday in Houston on the road. We still were equal to (TxSU folks version) to the home team support. If anything he should be asking TxSU what is wrong with their fan base. Surely there are more of their alums in Houston than SU has.

It is a coalition on this board against JSU. Prime example SU plays ASU but both schools still got JSU in their mouths. Like I said you guys boast and brag on attendance when you can only muster 6k. Its no way around it. Prime example of pot calling the kettle black....
