Swac Football Attendance - Week 10

No excuse. Didn't folks post threads saying this was going to happen if that game stayed on Friday? Now all of the sudden folks act surprised. Didn't SU folks say now they were not coming in from the boot after the game got moved? All I know is my frats and sorors from TxSU were like yall always support in H-town no matter what. They were even embarrassed on their own turnout. SU Houston crew did their job and made SU football team feel right at HOME. Same for the Jukebox.
 
Wow has the sports board fallen this much to the point of people sticking their chest out because SU didn't pack an away game on a Friday night???? Go grab a beer or something :lol:

I am saying. Lewis started a thread about this a long time ago. Everybody agreed that having it on Friday was going to cut the crowd down. I don't think anyone said the NORMAL number of Jags would be in Houston for this game. I know for a fact I posted it cut out Jags from other Texas areas who normally show up in Houston for a game with TxSU when it is on a Saturday. 2 years ago, that HS stadium had a nice crowd in it. And that was with SU in the middle of a bad record. Folks want to smack even after folks said this was going to happen. Then I look at other attendance and it still was not the worse one in the SWAC. Oh well.

It's hilarious man. I know a ton of folks here in Dallas that stayed home because the game was Friday. I just find it funny that folks are acting like they won the game because SU didn't pack out the stadium but still managed to outnumber the opposing team in their own stadium.

If the game was on a Saturday, it would have been 4 times the amount for their HC. lol The good thing is that our students support our team on the road as well. It was a good bit of them right in the section underneath the band.

Well, some of the folks on here are simple minded. They want an award for that. I'm sure we will have a lot more in Montgomery, Saturday than what we had in Houston on Friday. I want Bama State folks to take pics of it.
 
Some of TxSU fans said they don't come to the games because the tickets are too expensive. Bama State has the highest prices in the SWAC. 45 to sit on the 50. 40 in advance. 15 to sit in the grass and 20 on game day.

SU didn't travel well to us in 2011. I'm thinking with two winning season and a band battle taking place attendance will be over 20,000. I'm interested to see how spread out the SU fans are once they get a load of the ticket prices. I expect some to wind up in the grass as the end zone bleachers sell out pretty quickly. Should be a great day for SWAC football.
 
Man I heard yall are charging 35 bucks a ticket...for a SWAC game? Really?
I see why yall cant get but 8K in that place.

Yall better lower those prices before I get there next year or there will be hell to pay

Bruh SU IS NOT GOOD! PV either. Any team that barely beats us this year is sorry. JSU and Bama State are the only two good teams this year in the SWAC...

You're just jealous of S.U. because we're on the verge of claiming the SCG championship. Don't try to diminish our prospective championship because aamu is not doing well. :lol: :emlaugh:

We are probably going to need to make room for that Commissioner Cup Trophy. I don't believe aamu and txsu ever had one. Perhaps we can send one of our older CC Trophies on tour to the schools that haven't been skilled enough to earn one. :lol: :emlaugh:
