Grambling is going to beat SU...
Watch
SU is not good at all...there's nothing special about them
The least worst team will win the game....that's going to be Grambling
At that point I want to see the SU people spin this monumental collapse

Only 5k in Houston?
But I thought SU had a huge Houston alum base
I hope they ain't waiting on the scg to see SU cause uuuuh

Im just observing and laughing at these comments and attendance figures this past week. I'm not going to write a thesis statement and try to raise questions as to why this happened or why didn't it because I could care less. Carry on....

So this is a code for the word "excuse"

Yeah, they lucky it was raining and our fans decided to tailgate out of the bad weather or we would have filled that "urnge" stadium up! :emlaugh:

These folks know they can make excuses over the lamest stuff.:smh: It's a systemic mental health issue amongst them folks.

I think 4K of the 6K is decent Houston Alumni base for fans. Even TBF can vouch for that. Ran into him and he even shook his head at TxSU. Oh well. At least SU Band came. Whoa is us.

So which is it the drizzle or the date?

Frat, we told TxSU folks the last few weeks that Friday was going to kill this game. Nobody from SU said we were going to pack that place on a Friday night. I will use the same excuse everyone says when there is a day game. Folks have to get off work and make it 3 hours to Houston to see what? A game that the majority of Jag fans felt like SU would win. I got to give it to the Houston Jags. They showed up in a good number. Not the same number they would have on Saturday night. Folks do have kids who participate in HS football, cheerleading and band on Friday night. What TxSU missed out on was the folks coming in from La and the Dallas crew coming down for the weekend when we have played in Houston.

The drizzle had nothing to do with it in my opinion. It wasn't raining before the game. It started during the game. But TxSU fans are non existent. I don't know if they don't like the stadium, the ticket prices which are decent to me, or they just don't like the product on the field. This is second time I have seen them in that stadium and both times were bad attendance. I saw them against JSU last year and it seemed like it was more JSU folks there than TxSU. I don't know if that was the case. But that place is a nice stadium and I can't understand why they don't come out. Poor Chuck was walking around looking dismayed.

Our fans didn't want to over flood that little delicate stadium over so half of them stayed in BR, a quarter watched it on television and the other quarter tailgated with the TXSU folks. If it didn't rain or drizzle we might have changed our mind about the tailgate thing. The Jaguar nation is a very considerate well mannered bunch with good Creole values. That's just who we are. Year after next we might not be as nice! :emlaugh:
