LSU running back Jeremy Hill arrested

LSU running back Jeremy Hill was arrested early Saturday and accused in a fight that left a man unconscious at an LSU-area bar, arrest records show.

Hill, a former Redemptorist High School star, was booked into East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on a count of simple battery around 6:30 a.m. Saturday, Parish Prison booking records show. He has posted a $500 bail.

And as for being picked on I don't think so...when you have an asshole who thinks they can say this (he told the officer, "I own Eunice" and "I'm going to buy these projects and you are going to be mine," before getting into his car) to an officer of the law (be that officer white or black)...Ya'll better teach your babies about a got damn badge!

Old Simon went to Cajun Country and proclaimed ownership. That must have been the ackahol (alcohol). Eddie from the Five Heart Beats, send help! I know this didn't happen in Happy Hill (hood in Eunice). :lol: :emlaugh:

It's his damn blue eyes they are so mezmerizing...and Hell yea I am mad because there are a lot of good kid on that team #12 I know for sure...so stop with your "ALL of them" because me and daddy of #12 got our fingers on ours as well as a few of the other parents who have their kids on that team...Don't act like you don't know that I will fight you...SMH!

I don't know the parts of Eunice but yes he was drunk on top of that dumbness and you know those two don't go together!

That place is a hot bed of racism. We have a Southernite that actually use to be an instructor at Southern that keep leading protests and demonstrating down there because many things aren't right in that area. So you can add climate to dumbness and drinking to the equation.....

can anyone show me where he made threats towards the officer? granted it was stupid for what he said but not enough to be arrested. in a bigger city he would would have gotten a citation from the officer and kept it moving.

I was reading the article from the link posted (article from The Advocate) and it didn't mention any "threatening" remarks Tharold Simon made to the officer. I looked up what WAFB9 had to say, and this is what a police report obtained by KATC in Lafayette alleges:

Simon said, "I own Eunice" and "I'm gonna buy these projects and you are gonna be mine".


I guess that's what the officer perceived to be as a "threat".:noidea::confused: Yeah, it was stupid, but it doesn't sound threatening......but I could be wrong.....


The Advocate states that Simon was arrested for "obstruction of roadway" but the article has the Eunice Police chief saying that Simon moved his vehicle.

Neither WAFB9 or The Advocate mentions that Simon was drinking or that he was drunk.

Which makes perfect sense for the former high school star to be back in his hometown.
