Then I can't wait until this officer is fired and/or the city is sued by Simon...since he was minding his own business and complying!

So did the police officer violate his constitutional rights by making him move his car? Like you said in another thread, it got to be more to the story.

Which is why his agent is probably suing because Tharold Simon did comply with the officer when asked to move his vehicle......

Former LSU defensive back Tharold Simon was arrested Thursday night after allegedly intimidating a Eunice police officer who asked him to move his vehicle, Eunice Police Chief Ronald Dies said Friday.

Dies said Simon moved his vehicle, which was blocking Beulah Street, but blared his music loudly.




This was in the article in the very first post on this thread. JagBR posted the link, but apparently, folks didn't bother to read it. And again, neither did The Advocate nor did WAFB (Channel 9) report that Simon was drunk or had been drinking.

Again.. Eunice Police Department has been known for many years as Crooked, Dirty Cops.. This isn't new... I am NOT taking up for Tharold because he is family, Im stating Facts.. and NOT Opinions how Eunice is run....

Maybe it was more to it than just moving his car, because Eunice could have a nausea noise ordinance like most places.

I worked in Eunice for about a month last summer. I agree with everything you said. That was the first thing that came to mind when I heard of that situation.

Here on this board you are stating Opinion because you have not shown me a fact...I am not saying Tharold is a bad kid (because if he was drunk or some foolishness old boy would have made that the highlight of the arrest)...I am saying these kids have very flipped mouths that you all as parents are not teaching them of the best times to close it...Now You Gone On With your Judgements!

Both of you all are correct about certain things. He is correct that Eunice police and the city in general have racial demons that persist (it's well documented if you follow Louisiana's news). You are correct that a lot of our young people can't hold their tongues and on some occasions don't handle situations like this well.

Really???? I guess that's why they get confused when the police decides to pull their azzes over and they start crying for their mommies. So the next time you see one pulled over by the police, go put something in his mouth so he won't add to his troubles.
