Texas Southern is the only team that is eliminated. UAPB and AAMU (believe it or not) are out if they lose. Valley and JSU oddly enough could lose and still not be eliminated despite slim odds. Valley benefits from playing a deflated TxSU so that game is actually winnable

Valley was eliminated when the season started.
 
The EAST is going to come down to this...

Can JSU make something out of this season with a change in OC? This OC got us to SCG in 2012 and 2013. That UAPB loss is really hurting right now.

JSU will be eliminated tomorrow by EITHER an Alcorn win or an AlaState win. If AAMU can pull off the upset and JSU handles our business, the Soul Bowl will determine who goes to Houston...

Now, do I see this scenario happening? Not really! lol

Founder, with ALL of our faults, JSU is still probably a top 5 SWAC team in the last 5 years and a probably the top 2 SWAC team in the last 10 years. You can try to down our accomplishments all you want but we had the most stable university and athletics program in the conference until about 3 years ago... and we are STILL the best overall university bar none!
 
Now that all games have been played this week, 5 teams got eliminated today (AAMU, Jackson St., MVSU, Prairie View, UAPB). It is now between Alcorn/Alabama St. from the EAST and Southern/Grambling from the WEST.

Grambling 55% (at Alabama St., Bayou Classic)
Southern 45% (at Texas Southern, Bayou Classic)

Alcorn 95% (MVSU, at Jackson St.)
Alabama St. 5% (Grambling, at MVSU)
