Sorry but this is not a gotcha moment. This is known by everybody. They been cutting college and state agency budgets for the last 10 plus years. We already had this discussion about how some schools in this conference didnt prepare for shrinking budgets from their state and others did.
JSU been building and expanding under this problem since the early 2000's while everybody else was focused on JSU "renting" a hand me down stadium from Massa that was not on campus. lol
No rent, no upkeep, keep the ticket, parking, and concession sales from Memorial sound real good in these days of slashed budgets. More students enrolling at the other campuses JSU has opened equal more tuition $$$$$$ comming in.
This dont include the other nice JSU streams of revenue brought in by APPLE STORE, BankPlus, C-Spire, and the burger king, subway, starbucks, and Chic Filet franchises located on campus. Throw in the advertising dollars being brought in at WJSU-TV and we got a real good base to stand on with these cuts.
