How many people knew about and attended the MCC before both bama schools became members of the SWAC?

I've asked them to post me some numbers of attendance for the last 15-20 years, but they ignore that.

Before they came in to the SWAC and before they were even worth mentioning, I bet attendance was average.

And one of these fools had the nerve to say that they're the biggest tailgating school.....AAM.

I'll admit I heard of it Pre-aamu swac, only because this guy I use to shoot ball with wore a MCC shirt to the womens gym listing the attendence numbers. Good classic, but no Bayou Classic or SU/JSU. If the whole crowd leaves after halftime, you are not there yet.

I heard about it in 1996...on a telecast of Black College Sports today. I probably only paid it any attention because I had just heard of AAMU in 1994...LOL

You've never been, yet you come with this assessment. The arse beatin' in Crews a couple of weeks ago is layin' on you like some old collard greens eaten at midnight, ain't it.

:smh: at you too!

When I first heard about the mcc in 2001...I was like...hell yeah...let's go. :ebrow:

Until.... I found out it wasn't a skrippers convention...

:emlaugh:

It's funny, you guys can find info on everything else you want to prove people wrong with, but you can't find it on the MCC. Show me were the classic has had under 50,000 in the last 15 years whether Bama St. or AAMU was having bad seasons.

they wont find it.... I know there has not been a MCC under 50,000 that I have attended and I have been to one for at least the last 25 years.

Actually Cee I've and search for the info but there isn't anything I can find on the MCC in the NCAA archives before 1999.

Can you help us out?

So why not show us the link to this info since none of us can seem to find any?

I cant make something be there that aint there... i went to the MCC website and clicked on history... it only has the scores. I cant MAKE something be there that I cant find.

This is funny. Yeah, I voted.

SMH at people who claim not to know about THE SWAC's MOST WELL-ATTENDED CLASSIC ! ! !

I found out about it through my Niece... she danced for A&M....

I've been... the game was too suttle to have such a nice crowd. Should have been far more intense than it was regardless of how sorry a football team was. (too many gals playing dress up and too many fans sitting on their asses) Considering its two BAMA schools the crowd should be :argue: :argue: :argue: :saw: :saw: :kaioken: :kaioken: :kaioken:
Yet, the few who decide to stay after halftime are more like

if BAMA state was on it this year (football) it probably would be an intense game considering A&M is winning again. but guess we'll just have to wait and see the outcome

Dat be AAMU's side wit da tight booties.  (gone and say sumthin smart Snake!! ~hugs~)

And yes, I'm guilty of wearing a fly outfit too (long as the shoes are comfortable) every year, but that's just a lil tradition I do for myself.

Like I've stated before.........The Magic City Classic is not JUST a game- it's an experience. :jump:

I think I saw where bluedog just turned 50. And he actually started this thread and said he hadn't heard of the MCC til 99. :smh:

Too bad he aint got the good sense (thanks rob) to realize just how small it makes his knowledge of bcf seem.

I mean, it's one thing that these misinformed youngsters who just got to college (or not even there yet  ) to get on here and think it's "something" to say they hadn't heard of it, but for someone of bluedog's age. :smh::smh:

damn!

but then again, he did just tell that outrageous lie that the JSU/SU game "always brings 60,000 when both schools are in the hunt and 50,000 when they're not."
