LOL, yall won all them championships playing in the lowest division in the state. Yall was recruiting, (err. I mean accepting) players from all over the city of Baton Rouge, beating up on mostly small town schools were the whole team had 2 or 3 last names. Like White Castle, that whole town got 1 red light, and yall used to beat them almost every year in the top 28 like yall was doing something.

Frat...Aint no different than ya'll getting all of the players in Alex. cmon man. I know Smith was "snatchin" them boys from ASH, Menard and Bolton. :lol:

Hell...ya'll might have snagged a couple of them from Rapides! :lol:

Yeah, we a magnet school. but we play in the toughest Class in the state. BTW, Menard don't never have nothing to take, and bolton don't ever have much either. ASH was 25-4 this year and made it to the QuarterFinals, and Pineville lost in OT of the quarterfinals of 5A, with one of their best players from our side of the river. Rapides won the state last year and are in the Top 28 this year, so how much can we be taking from them?????

I never saw that in the record books.Just Dat Lab with 13 STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS in boys basketball.Hey Lewis let me know where it says that?

You right, it don't say that in the record books, just 13 State Championships. (Well according to my information, yall have 15 State Championships). Just like Zwolle, winning all the Jr. Basketball titles in them lower classes, when they were in a strech of about 8 championshipe in a row, got the big head and came to the Emeral Palace and played Peabody and got blew out by over 30 points. LOL, but it don't say that in the record books either.

My bad, under Coach Hawkins its 13,but the grand total is 18 and one National championship back in the late 1940's.And the school has 106 counting all the sports.Maybe pb did,but there alot of 4 and 5a schools Dat Lab beat by 30,so whats 1 loss?

The only player that came from Menard was Marcus Simmons who currently plays for USC. He came to Peabody on his own submission after his Sophomore year at Menard. But in all honesty, most schools in Rapides Parish recruit from areas closer to Peabody (Lower Third, Acadian Village, Samtown, and Woodside). Except for the Sonia Quarter area in Alexandria, most kids who play for other schools (Pineville, Bolton, ASH, and Tioga) live closer to Peabody then the school they attend. But Rapides Parish is no longer under a desegregation court order and the parish allows open enrollment, which means if a student is in good academic standards, they can attend whichever school they so chooses. I would also like to add that most of Peabody's basketball players are very successful in the classroom and a lot them that didn't receive a basketball scholarship, have gone on to college with an academic scholarship.
 
Scotlandville won 64-53 Thomas had 22, Elfrid my daddy slapped Broadway Payton had 23 for John Ehret.
 



Man, if I was in Louisiana, you better believe I would be in the Cajun Dome looking at that Scotland vs St. Aug game...........damn, damn damn!!! :lol: :emlaugh: This is the kind of stuff I like!

St Aug in a blowout. They were up by 30 and won by 20 plus. Man St. Aug guards :what:

3A and 4A Championships SUnday.

Tuff day for the BR area. SU women lost, SU Lab and Scotlandville Lost, and SU baseball split with PV :smh: .
