A question for all Jaguar posters; DOES THERE EXIST ANOTHER PRIVATE FORUM SIMILAR TO THE ONE WE HAD HERE ON WHICH WE CAN PRIVATELY COMMUNICATE?
What are you talking aboutYes I do.. I miss typed,, I just think the whole thing IS SAD.on every levels,, But hopefully SU has learned..
SU has upgraded its facilities every year for the last 4-5 years.Nice, good to see another conference school getting upgrades to their facilities.
SU usually has spring practice inside Mumford, so it wouldn't have effected anything.I guess not having spring practice helped since they didn't have to work around this construction zone.

That was under Pete, things have changed. After this project is completed, I'm sure they will use the practice field.I just remember when JC was there, they always had spring practice there and not inside the stadium.
Does anyone know about the roof of the dome, and is SU going to repair it??It honestly looks bad when.u coming up.on the bridge,, that is the first thing I.notice
From the Google Earth image below, I can see how someone can mistakenly see the dirt spots on the roof as something in need of repair. What I see is a white roof with dirt spots. I bet if you look at most facilities in the south with a white roof, you'll see a lot of dirty roofs, which is something a good ole cleaning can fix. Now if you see big holes or roof material flapping in the wind, then there are major repair problems.

Congrats!!!!I was in Baton Rouge this past Friday (my daughter was one of the 665----TO GOD BE ALL THE GLORY!) and saw the construction and digging taking place. My daughter was telling us about the upcoming Jaguar Park.
Good stuff SU! I like how all of the Jag sports will all be in one central common area. Great planning!
Yep, cause our Dome looks the same.....

Better Pic. The covered stands is a nice touch on the soccer field. Glad they aren't cutting down the street committee tree lmao, but I see the tree is outside the fence. Its some interesting things that get said under that tree lol:
I am guessing no, but I am sure all of the details will be released tomorrow morning. Will the practice field have field turf?
Man those dudes are brave cause no way in the world would you catch me up there. lolSince I'm not in Louisiana, did you take a picture so that others can see. Sometimes what looks bad on the outside is really not that bad. The roof could possibly need a good cleaning from dirt and mildew buildup. SU is definitely in Louisiana where the growth of mildew will always be a major problem. When I lived in New Orleans, a cleaning crew would routinely climb on top of the Super Dome to give its white top surface a good cleaning. This is one of the reasons why white surfaces are not a good idea for outdoor structures in Louisiana. And I agree, maintenance crews probably need to pressure wash the outside of the Mini-dome, but that's a maintenance issue. Last I can remember, SU's facility services office is located near the Ag School: http://www.subr.edu/index.cfm/page/993
Now if the roof requires major repairs or upgrades, I think a person would have to deal with SU's facility planning office located in the administration building: http://www.sus.edu/PageDisplay.asp?p1=4373
