on all the clips I see SU's field looks horrible.... do they just not take care of the turf? Do any local high schools play at Mumford?

SU Lab games, Soccer, and Football practice will do that.

Privately funded. Phase 1 of JaguarPark is complete. Phase 2 is scheduled to start this spring. They already started work on the softball field, and work is scheduled to start on phase 2 of the baseball field house project, indoor batting cages, and player lounge expansion.



Work is beginning on phase two of the Southern clubhouse — the centerpiece of which is an indoor hitting facility — and the Jaguars hope to be able to use it before the season is over.

For the one gazillionth time. The state does not fund athletics in Louisiana.

They practice on the parking lot or at Louisiana Leadership Institute.

No, the band practice area is located in the parking lot next to where JaguarPark is being built. JaguarPark is in the area where Pete had once designated for football practice only when he was coach. He had the whole area isolated with hedges.
