Re: Cincinnati Bengals receiver Chris Henry in serious condition in Charlotte

Damn right she was beside him at the hospital.... Her ass didnt want him to die because she KNOWS she bout to get jail time. She damn sure wasnt beside him when the police found him laying in the middle of the street. She LEFT his ass in the middle of the street. If I was his family I would have beat the shit out of her inside the hospital.
Right,......

Damn, RIP Chris Henry. :shame: I was so hoping he would pull through, but when the article on yesterday mentioned he was on life support, you knew it was just a matter of time! :(

My sincerest condolences to the Henry family and his precious kids. :( This is tragic. I didn't know he'd passed until just now. :(

Re: Cincinnati Bengals receiver Chris Henry in serious condition in Charlotte

I was thinking the same exact thing. Because if the roles were reversed, we'd probably be seeing him in metal bracelets right about now. And Nancy Grace would be having an orgasm.

will she be charged with murder?

Re: Cincinnati Bengals receiver Chris Henry in serious condition in Charlotte

While this is definitely a tragic situation, why should this young lady be charged with murder when it seems like this young man was the one who jumped onto the bed of the truck? While we don't know all of the specifics of what happened, I'm just trying to figure out how she could be responsible for his murder. Yes, she was wrong for leaving the scene but how did she "kill" him? Did she run him over? I'm just trying to piece this together.

Re: Cincinnati Bengals receiver Chris Henry in serious condition in Charlotte

Why did she leave the man there though? Just left him hanging, thats foul smh. RIP Chris Henry.

If a dude was driving a truck and his wife
Jumped on the back, and she fell off and died, dude would be locked up.

If a woman had an accident in her drive way and a her
Husband was reported to have had a golf club dude would have got locked up.

If it wasn’t for sex there would be no need to deal with women ever!!!

My thoughts as well. If she's charged for anything, fleeing the scene of a crime. She didn't put a gun to his head or a knife to his throat and cause him to jump onto the back of that vehicle. I'm not sure of the ejection part. Did he voluntarily try to jump out @ a high rate of speed? Was he high? etc

I don't think she deserves the cuffs right now.

i am just livid at how she left him laying there. not sure about the logistics of how he fell from the truck, but I can't get over how she left him there to obviously die. she needs to be charged with something. My mind is telling me she was trying to get him thrown from the truck. just insensitive.

Re: Cincinnati Bengals receiver Chris Henry in serious condition in Charlotte

vehicular manslaughter
n. the crime of causing the death of a human being due to illegal driving of an automobile, including gross negligence, drunk driving, reckless driving or speeding. Vehicular manslaughter can be charged as a misdemeanor (minor crime with a maximum punishment of a year in county jail or only a fine) or a felony (punishable by a term in state prison) depending on the circumstances. Gross negligence or driving a few miles over the speed limit might be charged as a misdemeanor, but drunk driving resulting in a fatality is most likely treated as a felony. Death of a passenger, including a loved one or friend, can be vehicular manslaughter if due to illegal driving.

Re: Cincinnati Bengals receiver Chris Henry in serious condition in Charlotte

From what I understand Henry’s girl had been very supportive of him and his career and was very proud of him getting his life back together.

On her Myspace page she talked about their wedding plans and buying rings. I think this was an argument that got out of control and ended tragically.
From the outside looking in I don’t think she intentionally meant to hurt him. I think she probably panicked. It is just sad all the way around. :shame:
