<i>Unforgiven</b> send help!!!

In what regard? Most of you guys are twice my age and of course in the last few years, I've seen twice the amount of wins by the SHSU program (if not more) than yours...guess you are referring to experience losing. I'm not a big fan of losing, sorry to say.

TT, you must have a really sad unfulfilled life with the time you spend focusing on sTu. I have read threads noting you post on multiple board. I'm sure you spend hour looking up stats and the like for the other board, just as you do this one. Do you really have nothing else in life to offer you fulfillment or a feeling of value other than attacking sTu? I am starting to believe it was not your qualifications that disqualified you from the job. Have you considered it could be your obcessive presonality or inability to over-come rejection/obstacles that lost it for you? Please get help!!! Your obcession with sTu is very unhealthy!

The good news is it no longer needs to be that way. By using the plan set forth in Self Matters, Dr. Phil helps you to demystify your self-concept and learn how to reclaim your authentic self. In evaluating your life by only the facts, you can learn to think beyond the excuses and fears that have masked the person you have always wanted to be.

Da_Sleeper, I know reading comprehension is at low levels on this board (based on the responses that I typically get), but the job requirement for that job required a J.D degree. Unlike some of the degrees offered online by showing one's ability to know the ABCs and 123s, that degree does not come as easy.

Of course, seems like if I were hired, my efforts would be wasted under the previous regime. Good thing is, I'm in a better place where my talents are put to use without dealing with the high hurdles of a Texas Southern, where even the minimal tools to succeed have been "out of reach" for so long.

So why did you ask for a "hook up"!

I was rather naive about the situation at sTu. Did not realize it was all that bad at the time. Just thought there were a few people who were not capable of the job and since that time (fall 2005), the problems on campus got worse and worse and obviously escalated to include such events as no one showing up for football and other actions.

Really wanted to stay in Houston at the time as well. Thought that I could really change things around at Texas Southern in several different offices. Other than the sTu problems, I also realized some other problems in the last few years pertaining to the conference as a whole that hinders the ability of some to succeed at the levels they are capable of. Some of these things have been brought up by individuals on this board.

man,

You wanted a job period! Dont give me that **** about you caring and what not. The job you wanted would not allow you to change jack crap except the paper in the print..As my big sister would say..."miss me with the bull****........NEXT!

Outside of lacking reading comprehension, you do not know me that well at all outside of what you see on this board. I'm a very passionate person about the work I do, whether I was a student at SHSU or in my current job.

I'm not interested in sitting in a cubicle and just doing what I am told. I like to go above and beyond (while having a job that does not involve a cubicle). That is what would have made be a valuable asset to anyone and that is what makes me a valuable asset to my current employer.

And I would have changed more at Texas Southern than you realize, if I was given the opportunity. For one, sTu would not have to outsource as much as they were doing in several areas. Money would be saved as I had some skills that at the time, were not possessed by any member of your athletic department.

Things worked out for the better for me and with the hiring of Charlie Mac, things have begun to work out for the better for you...

Sounds like the Healing process has started, so TT you were HURT that TSU passed on you for a job that you thought you were "Highly Qualified" for. Tell me more.......

Hurt...not at all. I was not qualified for the position as I noted I did not have a judicial degree or the experience to deal with a department that was ankle-deep in NCAA problems (this was around the time of the tennis issues, etc). Where you pulling "highly qualified" from...?

The work that I was doing in my brief time involved in the department (before leaving for the Crescent City) was outsourced! Not sure if still is... :rolly:

I've shared some of the 'high points' with Panthro from that experience.

So what sector are you in now?

Official Stats.

So what sector are you in now?

Sector 7 of the private business world. :)

As Ric Flair would say, I'm a limousine ridin', jet flyin', kiss stealin', wheelin' dealin' son of a gun...just avoiding the kiss stealin' as I'm married.

Travel all over the place, eating good food (which made me out of shape -- of course, New Orleans has great food as well), seeing new places and telling people all about the great city of New Orleans...just not getting any slice of Ray Nagin's credit card expenses...:upset:
