All of you planning on falling victim to PV football 2008, sign in.

If you take every home game attendance from last year and divide by the number of home games you will have 7000 fans.

Apparently, math is not a required class at Texas Southern...or atleast, when you were there.

Sep 01 *vs Prairie View A&M.... 14-34 L 16827
Sep 08 *ALABAMA STATE.......... 10-21 L 2743
Sep 13 *at Jackson State....... 7-28 L 5513
Sep 22 at Texas-El Paso....... 12-52 L 35336
Sep 29 *at Alabama A&M......... 24-48 L 13745
Oct 13 *ALCORN STATE........... 20-22 L 7800
Oct 20 *at Mississippi Valley.. 35-37 L 7345
Oct 27 *at Grambling State..... 9-57 L 19639
Nov 03 *vs Southern............ 7-56 L 8164
Nov 17 *ARKANSAS-PINE BLUFF.... 10-20 L 750

Let's do the math for the games officially considered home games by the NCAA...

2743 + 7800 + 750 = 11,293
11,293 divided by 3 = 3,764 -- barely halfway to 7,000!

http://web1.ncaa.org/d1mfb/Internet/attendance/IAA_AVGATTENDANCE.pdf

Since we had 5 home games last year.
2743+7800+750+24991 (2 games at Reliant)/ 5 (number of home games) = 7256.8 fans per game. Now miss me with the bullshty bytch.

I posted those numbers directly from the SWAC web site as we all know, you aren't going to get any information from the Texas Southern site (and haven't for two years).

http://www.swac.org/swacftp/fbstats/2007/confsked.htm

According to the SWAC standings, Texas Southern was 0-3 at home in 2007. So, I posted the three home games per the SWAC web site. Was that wrong?

Thanks for proving me correct. :)

The official NCAA chart, which you provided in such a wonderful fashion, lists your average home attendance at 3764. I knew you could help me provide the facts to the wonderful people on this forum.

Ah, trying to throw some fuzzy math into the equation? Ah!

The good thing is, we are going by those who provide the information. Those extra two games at Reliant are not recognized as home games by the NCAA attendance gurus.

Hence, you even see an Appalachian State game at Chattanooga, Tenn (the Division I national championship game) listed amongst those two Reliant Stadium games as is a Jackson St home game in Birmingham, Ala (the SWAC title game).

I told them he's been breaking an orange foot off in sTu's ass since... :read: Hell, he rode PV just as hard until things "changed" about us back in the day. Can't make a lie out of facts though.

Their response is "elementary school" name calling. Educated people respond intelligently where required. :read: I knew Texas, overall, was a backwards ass state and it certainly holds true when the "state" owns certain institutions that are.... well.... :shame:

*sigh* Piss poor pitiful.

Transitive property send help! :smh:

You stated home games...and I gave you attendance on all home games. Now if you going to try to be a bytch post exactly what you mean.

Also, someone have to be the home team. Like in Superbowl, Fiesta Bowl, Swac championship game. Thus when dealing with college sports the home team will be listed.

Dude show me one post from back in the days....Dude is 25 and just start posting on here june 2007....So show me one damn negative post toward pv..if not stfu

Ricky, I don't believe you've responded to my question to you in post #41.

Post #10 started all this nonsense...

TT ripped PV up and down and he wasn't lieing and I certainly don't have a need to lie about what occurred on AGS. We went a differing direction a few ago, I <b>learned</b> to shut my pie hole and LOOK while gaining FACTS. Dude wasn't lieing. lol He was merely making fun of PV like he's doing sTu. :emlaugh: Those are <b>facts</b> he's posted. Or, am I reading this wrong? Maybe there's a different type of english that's written and spoken in houston I don't understand. :retard: As recently as this past spr ('08), he called PV's baseball team "batting practice." And guess what... it was! They beat us like 25-4 (?) and they did NOT use their aces to pitch the game. They used "young" guys @ the end of their pitching staff. :emlaugh: And I'll be damned if not a few weeks later, another Southland school <b>blasted</b> us 27-9 (?) and this one dude set a school record for # of homeruns against us or something like that. :emlaugh: Yes, we were indeed "batting practice" and we were NOT good as compared to them or does a blowout score mean you're actually better than the competitor that just drove you? Backwards ass thinking in my book.

I don't wear rose colored glasses anymore. If it quacks like a duck, walks like a duck, speaks english like a duck lol, has webbed feet like a duck.... then it's a dog. :retard: Take that lil' bit of advise (not advice :swink: ) and run w/ it.

Chris, C-LeB28, I see zero need or inkling of a desire to respond. I have zero <b>vested</b> interest(s) in sTu. :) I just enjoy laughing at the diversions, primitive behavior (responses lol), et al jibes. lol

Carry on though... lol I'm thoroughly enjoying this. :emlaugh:

BTW, don't break that "refresh" key on that browser. :emlaugh: I hear they're pretty expensive and are a pain to re-install.

*GAACK* *GAACK* :emlaugh:

The questions I posed pertained to Prairie View; don't you have a vested interest there?

The questions I posed pertained to Prairie View; don't you have a vested interest there?

Oh, most certainly. HUGE vested interest in PV. However, I speak PV w/ PVers not sTu'ers. I know y'all sTu'ers live on PV's campus but unless you're PV employed or your <b>degree</b> sez PV, I won't waste my time or energy on ya'. :swink: You'd do better to find a sellout, I mean, a mentally weak(er) PV person who cares to entertain. I'm not the <b>zoo</b>. :read:

Carry on. I'm enjoying the slaughterfest Schlitterbein. :emlaugh:

Our AD has taken a great deal of heat for his scheduling and our scheduling has been much more challenging than that of yours by a long shot. This year's schedule is very ideal for SHSU.

We have an OOC regional foe (PVA&M), an OOC foe from the national level (Gardner-Webb), a sub-Div I regional opponent (East Central Oklahoma -- we hate these, but everyone whether FBS or FCS, especially in our region needs to do it) and an FBS opponent. If SHSU can go 3-1 in OOC play, we put ourselves in position to make a playoff push. That is what our fans want.

Confused
2003 - Howard, Nicholls State

2004 - Northwestern State, Nicholls State, Morgan State

2005 - McNeese State, UTEP

2006 - New Mexico State, Texas St-San Marcos

2007 - UTEP, Houston

I am confused, it appears we were attempting to play the same type of schedule. With the talent we had, it was a bit over zealous.

You stated home games...and I gave you attendance on all home games. Now if you going to try to be a bytch post exactly what you mean.

No, you gave me attendance for games not at your home facility. We are going by the NCAA definition of home games and how attendance is counted. I'm not trying to run away from anything, I'm going by the rules set forth by the governing body. I know TSU has had a few problems following the rules in the past and is trying to rectify the situation, so perhaps you can do your part.

Also, someone have to be the home team. Like in Superbowl, Fiesta Bowl, Swac championship game. Thus when dealing with college sports the home team will be listed.

So, if I play in the Sugar Bowl and serve as the "home team", that attendance counts for me as well, even if the game is 3000 miles away from my home facility? That is of little sense.
