To say former Alabama State great Reggie Barlow went through the highs and lows in his first season as head coach would be an understatement.His Hornets won their first four games, then dropped their next five. After ending the losing skid, Alabama State lost a three-overtime thriller to Tuskegee in the Turkey Day Classic. Barlow has changed his offense, going to the “Hornet Raid”, looking to make his Hornets a consistent winner in 2008.
Alabama State’s Reggie Barlow expected the 2007 season to be unforgettable as it was his first as head football coach at his alma mater. The Hornets began the season with four straight wins, but was followed by a five game losing streak.
