Of the nine HBCU teams selected to play in the NAIA men’s and women’s basketball tournament, the Langston Lions men’s team was the only team to advance to the next round.
Langston showed their sights are firmly set on competing for a championship handling business in a 79-40 win over Bellevue.
Anthony Roy paced the Lions with a game-high 23 points, hitting four three-pointers while adding nine rebounds.
