Grambling State released its fall 2021 football schedule on Monday.
The 11-game schedule, which features three nonconference games involving two FBS programs, begins on Sunday, Sept. 5, with the Tigers facing Tennessee State in the Black College Hall of Fame game in Canton, Ohio.
Grambling will travel to Hattiesburg, Mississippi, on Sept. 11 to face Southern Miss, followed by a trip to Houston, Texas, the following week (Sept. 18) to meet the University of Houston.
Conference play for the Tigers begins on Sept. 25 in the annual State Fair Classic against Prairie View A&M at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Texas, before the team hosts Alabama A&M on Oct. 2.

Alcorn State will be the next contest for the Tigers on Oct. 9 in Lorman, Mississippi, before the G-Men return home on Oct. 16. to host Texas Southern.
A two-game road trip begins the following week (Oct. 30) in Tallahassee, Florida, when Grambling faces new SWAC conference member Florida A&M, followed by a trip to Pine Bluff, Arkansas, to face UAPB on Nov. 6.
The Tigers will play their final home game of the season against Bethune-Cookman on Nov. 13, before ending the regular season on Nov. 27 against Southern in the Bayou Classic in New Orleans.
