Southern University will play host to a national champion this spring.
LSU, which won the College Football Playoff national title this past season, announced it will be playing its annual spring football game at A.W. Mumford Stadium, located on Southern’s campus, according to The Advocate.
LSU officials said the change in location was due to Tiger Stadium undergoing field turf replacement.
This is not the first time the two schools agreed on something involving football.
In October, it was announced that the schools would play each other during the 2022 season.
A date for the LSU spring game has not been announced.
