Late-night talk show host Jimmy Fallon has jumped on the Texas Southern bandwagon.
Sort of.
On “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” the former sophomoric Saturday Night Live star got into the NCAA Tournament experience by giving SWAC champion Texas Southern an inspirational pep talk in hopes that it would forge the Tigers to embark on one of the great postseason runs in sports history.
Fallon goes all in, saying at one point, that Texas Southern is “America’s team” and comparing them to Tiger Woods and Tony the Tiger of Frosted Flakes cereal fame.
“The math might not be on your side,” said Fallon. “But you know who is? … this guy.”
