Alabama A&M’s Ladarius Tabb has been named by the Southwestern Athletic Conference as the men’s basketball player of the week for his outstanding performance in competition between January 10-12 and leading the Bulldogs to two victories.
Tabb led the Bulldogs to a 86-73 victory on Saturday night against Mississippi Valley State as he scored a game-best and career high of 31 points. He went 10 for 18 from the field and went 3 for 5 from behind the arch. He also shot 8 for 12 and grabbed 4 rebounds. Against UAPB, he scored 10 points and grabbed 5 rebounds as AAMU defeated the Lions 51-48.
He is ranked fourth in the league in scoring but leads his team with a total of 184 points so far, averaging 14. 2 per game. He is also second in rebounds, averaging 5.8 per game.
