uum, its a rhetorical question. It also has no point...YOU CAN ONLY BEAT US BECASUE OF BELL.....The Bell effect is over. Oh well.

You made the foolish statement (among many foolish statements you make on the regular,) that AAMU could not beat jsu without Bell. It's a simple question...which should be easy for YOU to answer.

What you are doing up above is DIVERTING. See, you said something foolish...again, and didn't realize until AFTER you'd said it that it would make you look foolish....AGAIN. Keep the excuses (bell effect, agent orange) and other po tp bullsheet and answer the question. If you can't (or refuse to do so,) don't ever post here again! :retard:

You can't beat JSU without without Bell.

Dog 81 you make some valid points but those administrators are not soley hired by the alumni and boosters, who need to give more to have more of a voice to begin with. I make no excuses for our loses with BELL because the aministration let one AD hire this guy without a valid search so fans and boosters have to except those three losing seasons and ensure that it does not happen again.

You point out teams need to make it happen or move on. Comegy is a serious upgrade over Bell and we have invested in new coaches, Facilities, etc etc.
Recruiting great talent has never been a problem for JSU so we are back on track in that department. WE have community support and the support of former Standouts who have been welcomed back to help the team get back to the top. I can name several programs who have a rich tradition of winning, who have lost there way and made it back. USC being one of them.
You guys count us out based on Bell loses, and a Comegy loss at another school. We lost to you under a different coach and Comegy was not a JSU but we will continue to lose becuase of those reason. Mikey that makes no sense at all. At the end of the day are we now contenders or pretenders. Most would say contenders. We will not have to rely on so many transfers in the future because as we win we will get the top highschool talent. We will only have one guy starting that did not play last season and we have all our DL,LB and a host of offensive weapons to boot. It's up tp Comegy and Staff to make half time adjustments. If they can, we have just as good a chance if not a better chance to be in Bham in December as the rest of the contenders.
JSU fans can live with that.

shawiggi,

I respect your comments to the utmost! You make no excuses, you place the blame squarely upon who deserves it, and you presented a plan for JSU's future. In essence, you presented a vision that the glass is half full (positive). What the TSPN community is growing tired of is others placing the blame on Coach Bell, teams can't win when others have a winning season etc...that is a sign of the glass is half empty (negative).

Did you hear anyone from AAMU making excuses last year when we lost our All Everything field goal kicker, Jose Osorio. Osorio was a redshirt who graduated in 4 years; however, he had another year of playing time remaining (we were counting on him). He was replaced by a true freshmen, Jeremy Licea, who struggled the entire season. Osorio was accurate from 45 yards in. When we lost him, AJ had to adjust the game plan; however, we made no excuses.

We lost left tackle, Antonio Regist, (6"3" 311) second team All SWAC (in 2005) to injury for the entire 2006 season, he was replaced by a 6"0" 256 pound offensive lineman, James Sanders. Did you hear any excuses?

We lost right tackle, Roderick Johnson, (6"8" 360) for the entire 2006 season. He was replaced by Darious Turner, 6"5" 295 pound sophmore. Did you hear any excuses?

We lost All SWAC and sack leader, Christopher Taylor for a minimum of 4 games in 2006. AJ simply moved players around each game until he returned. Did you hear any excuses?

Osorio was also our punter, Osorio was replaced by a redshirt freshmen, Rashan Cylar. Did you any excuses?

At AAMU our players are molded into a complexed fundamental system. Once a players leaves the system, another molded player simply takes over. Again, we do nothing fancy at AAMU; however, it is MANDATORY that we teach the fundamentals of football.

Again, I commend you for speaking the truth and being realistic about JSU Football. I wish you good luck except one game....
