Mighty Dog predicted this would happen...Its all about the math...we only have to win the Magic City Classic and beat 2 of the former big three to be in the SWAC Championship game. This process has worked on numerous occasions whether other teams have down years or not.
The down years that you claim are a result of administrators hiring coaches who do not have a clue as to what is going on, key assistant coaches departing programs, the inability to recruit quality players, and a lack of quality head coaches.
Should we change the process of how a team earns a birth into the SWAC Championship game? I must agree, it has been tough on some teams to earn a birth into that game. Some teams have only been once and others have never been...Should teams be allowed to play in the championship game based upon fan support or should we vote on TSPN to determine which teams should play?
My question to the TSPN community is when will our administrators stop hiring coaches who do not have a clue, when will key assistants stop departing programs, when will quality players once again grace the football fields of SWAC teams, finally when will the SWAC attract quality head coaches to direct our teams to championships....whether it is the SWAC Championship, Black College National Championship, or the NCAA Championship?
I leave you with this quote, "You are going to either make things happen or watch things happen".
PS: While some schools are sitting back watching and make excuses about what is happening, other schools are making things happen. What is your school doing?
:noidea:

81, what you said will go over a bunch of folks heads on here. For example look at JayRob's comments. He has no clue what you are talking about. Which goes to show that James Bell may have been right about 99% of jsu fans.
:shame:
All AAMU does is sit by hoping for other teams to get worse.
If your sadness hadn't been revealed before that^^^it should be crystal clear to EVERYONE now!!
Mark Bradley is the biggest soundboard for my arguement. He left UAPB and went to OU and played his ass off.
Imagine a lil coaching.
James Bell send help!!!!
Dont get me started on SWAC coaching.
Dude, it's the truth. One could argue that your 2005 team that got beat 100-0 by Grambling was as good as your 2006 team. Again, you didn't get any better. I saw absolutely NO inprovement from your team from 2005 to 2006. Had Bruce suited up against you, you would have lost 100-0 again.
Well, you got your azz beat by us again, so what does that say for your alleged improvement.....post Bell?

Dude, you are so happy to beat JSU that you over look the obvious. We improved enough that your team that was supposed to cream us...had to struggle. Did you struggle in 2005? Nope. We will continue to close that gap AND close the door in your face. You can't beat JSU without Bell.
:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:There just can't be more delusional people from jsu like you.
:smh:
You can't beat JSU without Bell.
I know you gonna think this is smack, but TP you out your RABBIT ASS MIND! Dude, last year our team became more fundamentally sound than almost any team that we have had since moving into this conference. We've only truthfully had one other team that was that sound and it was the year that Tony Bellamy was the QB. That year should've been the year that we won the SWAC, honestly. We had hellafied speed and strength on both sides of the ball, with great corners, a Mlb by the name of Ware, with 6 WRs that were interchangeable, and four strong hard nosed running backs.
You don't know anything about our team and even if you did, you would still say something negative because we were in the places that you could only wish your teams could've been during that time. You and everybody else thought that the championship game was made for Grambling, SU, and jsu. When you jsu folks saw that you weren't making it after the first year. Yall all started to complain about going to the D1aa Play-offs.
See, I can see through all this BS that yall continue to post. I know better than to believe anything that you say. Atleast GR can be real about some things and still smack good. But, you my friend have this new world that you tend to live in that no one else seems to see. In a way, because of all the crap you post. I would love to see jsu get the snot beat out of them every week just to see what you will say next. But, being that I'm not like you. I would rather have a strong jsu for the conference strength, if for nothing else. See, I look at it like this. It's everybody under the champs fault including the champ that this conference is rated so low. You ain't even got the good sense to not dog your own conference in public, so why should anyone else think we are worth a dayum?
In closing, Tp your comments are both assinine and suspect when it comes to AAMU. I just hope that people can see through the obvious pain that you go through watching AAMU and Bama State going to places that you thought were designed for your team. The really sad part is that you have now garnered a few followers that are amenin' that crap that you spew. I hope they learn a lesson after this season about following your crap. There just can't be more delusional people from jsu like you.
:smh:
Who was the coach at jsu on Saturday November 4, 2006?
Why does it matter when that coach threw a team together in 3-5 months? Comegy hardly knew his players names last year. I guarantee that AAMU can't cut half of their team and go 6-5 a few months later. This year, things are a bit more even so we will see if you can walk the walk. AAMU can't beat good JSU, SU, or Gram teams. Unless, we have a losing record of near-losing record, you can't beat us.
TP, did you see a struggle in the 3rd quarter? What I saw was a team that settled down and came out of the locker room and stomped a hole in yalls arse!
If your sadness hadn't been revealed before that^^^it should be crystal clear to EVERYONE now!!
Man, quit postin stupid criticisms and post some substance. TP, Shawiggi, myself and others make posts with substance. Do the same for a change.
..and I see my question regarding who jsu's coach was on November 4, 2006 has YET to be answered.
