When? And to be clear, Sweptember and Losstober were a PREDICTION for the 2001 season. AAMU won the EAST in 2000 and people were all on their dik. Then JSU dropped bombs all over everybody in 2001. So it NEVER happened. You all had to wait a few years for it to even come close to happening.. smh And how we get Losstober and Sweptember when since the moment it was mentioned, we have the 2nd highest WINNING percentage in the SWAC?

Point taken, but fact of the matter is that not many of your fans have seen one in person. Heck, speaking of attendance, your school is the main reason attendance has dropped in the SCG.

You can try and demean a solid fanbase all you want too, but fans are the backbone of the economic power of any athletic department and conference.
You guys win games, but nobody shows up to support the team and your overall athletic department continues to suffer.

I think the SCG should consider downgrading to a smaller venue of maybe 35,000 to 45,000. we spend so much time in the swac trying to reach for the stars with venues we cant even halfway sell out consistently depending on certain teams fan bases being stronger than others rather than going somewhere that makes sense geographically for everyone, reasonable parking, and reasonable concessions. we have to meet reasonable attendance goals before we can move up to the houstons, atlantas, and new orleans… things have been done so backwards and folks hanging their hat on the glory days of SWAC attendance which economically isn't flexible as it was then compared to now.
 



This is trash ... Birmingham is so boring compared to Houston. And is Houston is home to the largest amount of SWAC alumni and fans.

I will be watching on TV if we make it ... I .really have no desire to be around a bunch of Alabama rednecks ... the worst kind there is!

Houston offers so much beyond the big game, BHAM don't offer @*#*! And BHAM is beautiful city but so dead compared to the more lively H-TOWN

I never go to a game worrying about nothing but my football Jaguars and fellowshipping with the Jag Nation. My love for Southern is far greater than the city we play in. As long as my Jags are putting a formidable product on the field, I don't care if the game is in Timbuktu, if my money is straight, I'm going.
