We must have Checks and Balances. We have To "Empower" the Prestige of Being a SWAC Champion. Being SWAC Champion may mean you get to pick your conference games for the next year LOL.

That would be a nice incentive.

Poor Alcornite_86, ATLBrave, Antroy, etc...

I tried to warn them. The SWAC wasn't going to let its HBCU National Champion get away with a schedule like that.

But I'm idiot to them.

A&M has never had problems scheduling. We already play South Alabama in 2017. Now, we can schedule more regional games.

Looks like a lot of people got their wish. The AD's will have to step up and find other schools to schedule for the upcoming football seasons.
I know I got my wish.
they should have put a clause that say if you can't get your schedule together in 2 years, you dead weight and need to go.

Nobody got any excuses for not filling 11 games with 2 years to find 4 ooc games.

The internet ADs on here won't be satisfied no matter what lol.

Okay.......I can see my Jags playing an old school schedule with a little of the new:

My Schedule I would like to see one year:

1) Grambling-N.O.
2) Jackson State-Jackson
3) FAMU-B.R.
4) Alcorn State-B.R.
5) Tennessee State-B.R.
6) Louisiana Lafayette-Lafayette
7) Alabama State-Montgomery
8) Northwestern State-B.R.
9) Texas Southern-Houston
10) Arkansas Pine Bluff B.R.
11) Prairie View-B.R.

Hon. Mention: Tuskegee (B.R. Homecoming)
Hon. Mention: South Carolina State-Atlanta
Hon. Mention: North Carolina A&T-Los Angeles/NY

SU, Gram, Bama St, and JSU won't have a problem scheduling.
At this point, add alcorn to that mix.
J-hob got a lot of friends coaching at these pwc schools. Right now they won't have problems either.

I know Northwestern lou will be one of ours. That will be a home and home like always. I also want nca@t bad. Lol

If we can keep famu and make it home and home, that will be 3 games for us already booked. Northwestern, tenn st, famu.

Add a con usa team or a easy skeege or delta St when we dont have a fbs team scheduled. They are really good d2 teams that should be a true 1st game tune up before fcs season start

Grambling would prolly play JSU and Alcorn no matter what, that's to much money left on the table
Yeaaaaa, your probably right. I remember when GSU athletic director once told there local newspaper that he wanted all Grambling fans to come to the Grambling JSU game even if they don't come to any other. Lol

No smack.. ya'll used to and I used to clown you about it. You all have done better lately.
That's a lie... We have never had a problem with a schedule while half the swac playing schools NOBODY has ever heard of....we already have Auburn and south Alabama for future games...

As I said before, the Texas schools will roll the Bama schools, Valley and/or Alcorn off the schedule and the Bama schools will roll the Texas schools and UAPB off theirs for sure. The fun begins when JSU, GSU and SU won't roll each other off their schedules...

Now all those that thirst for match ups against more FCS PWCs your ADs will get the chance to schedule them in two years. If you get 4 (and in some years FIVE) chances to make out a good schedule and your AD has Concordia, Faith AND Lynchburg on the same schedule then you will know if your AD is really putting in work or just collecting a check. I would also feel the same way if an AD takes 4 money games a la Savannah State.

The internet ADs on here won't be satisfied no matter what lol. A good schedule would be 2 FCS schools (including a MEAC school), a money game and a low level game or two money games

Ain't that the damn truth!

Umm y'all already know the SWAC will rotate East vs West games. I do think they should give East and West one rival from the other side you play ever year. Also you shouldn't be able to schedule in conference games that don't count in standings.

SU-JSU
Grambling-Alcorn
UAPB-Valley
TXSU-AAMU
PV-Bama State

4 schools in the SWAC would love that, but the other 6 probably wouldn't like who they would be matched against. It would help preserve and build rivalries by having that 1 team that you will see every season from the opposite division.

Houston Baptist University
Incarnate Word University
Sam Houston State University
Stephen F Austin University
McNeese St University
Abilene Christian University
Tarleton State University lol (shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiidddddd.... PVAMU doesn't want this one lol. Trust. )

One low-level FBSer:
Rice (2016)
Baylor
TCU lol
SMU
Texas Tech (rebuilding - ? )
UofH

Oh boy.... Here we go. Alright Mr Robinson, time to earn that check yet again.

I don' think he even does the scheduling for any of the teams. I believe most teams do their own scheduling and he only have to approve it.

I know I got my wish.

They can't do it now, always waiting to fill slots the 1/2 year before. Now they will have to wait to see the Swac master schedule to find out what dates they have available to schedule ooc games.

There is no rival for 3 of the teams in the East and West so this isn't a option. That's 6 of you conference teams.

Now let me say this about scheduling SWAC Opponents as Non-Conference Games:

There must be a system or agreement in place to ensure one team is not traveling to the same stadium 5 straight times, etc. Example: Say if SU and JSU play each as a NON-CONFERENCE Game in 2017. Say the game takes place in Baton Rouge. Now say in 2018, the SWAC has rolled SU and JSU as conference opponents BUT....the game is scheduled to be in Baton Rouge again. This cannot happen. Have to be fair to both schools. The 2018 game would have to place in Jackson.

WHY? If it is an non-conference game, then it is up to the two schools involved and has nothing to do with the conference rotation. if a school needs to make some money (like Alcorn did a few years ago) thats up to them.
