It's funny how the fans from one particular school in the SWAC enjoy helping an OOC PWC defend itself over another SWAC school and they call us a sellout. :emlaugh:

The 90's? You mean the decade where we won the SLC and went to the playoffs 8 times, while Southern dropped five games in row to Nicholls, who never finished higher than fourth in the SLC? Those 90's???

If Southern didn't wanna talk about 2000 until now, they damn well don't wanna talk about the 90's either...

By Southern standards, the Jaguars were good in the 90's...what did they win, 78 or 79 games in that decade? Not too shabby....but, to put it in perspective, they split with Northwestern and lost five of 7 to Nichols...

We had right at 90 wins against superior competition. It's a fool's errand for Southern to bring up the 90's...

How do you think su's going to do against NW State? Personally I think you will lose again, but it will be more competitive than that Houston game.

But that still didn't answer the question. Obviously when SU originally schedule McNeese in 2004 they were well aware of McNeese's football program. So I am pretty sure they would have been more than glad to play ya'll in the 90s as well.

Hey fmrpokey, on a more serious note, how has McNeese managed to keep a winning program for so long? Is it coaching? Is it your offensive line that's your strength, your D-Line. Any how, how do you guys manage to beat FBS schools while others seem to struggle?

By the way, what's your head coach's salary along with his assistants?

SU was 5-2 vs Northwestern in the 90's. Stop telling half truths.
