Congrats to the US Men's and Women's 4x100 Relay teams.

On the other hand, I'm not surprised but still bewildered with how difficult some of our teams are making these handoffs exchanges. I saw earlier where the women's 4x400 got disqualified in a heat. There were baton exchange issues in all of our relay teams in various heats.

Anyhow and again, Sha'Carri and Noah got their crowns (individually and with their teammates)! Much respect!

The race she took that wig off and threw it to the back, made me feel a whole lot better about her for some reason.

I loved how Thomas got the lead and cheered Sha'Carri on.
 
I must admit, Sha'Carri looks like she is ready for the Olympics. She will not be a shoo in to win the gold if she makes the US team. She needs to stay focused because there are women that can beat her.

I was really shocked at Elaine Thompson-Herah's performance in that race. She finished butt naked last. I never would have imagined that. I don't know what is going on with the Jamaicans this Olympic year. We have not seen Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce yet. Shericka Jackson ran a 200 last week and she looked mediocre at best. I think the Jamaicans are playing possum. 🤣

The trainer/coach who said that, is Stephen Francis. He is the one that coached her to those two back-to-back Olympic gold medals in the 100 and 200. Elaine and coach Francis had a falling out. I don't know what happened, but rumor has it, that it got ugly. She is now being coached by a guy name Reynaldo Walcott. He is the guy that also coaches Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce. Which is strange because it is no secret that there is no love lost between Shelly and Elaine. They are not training partners.

I think they will be ready too. Their top athletes can focus on Paris. The top Jamaican athletes really don't have to be at their best at their trials. Unlike the Americans who have to be at their best just to make the damn team. Forget Paris, the U.S. athletes have to focus on Eugene. According to Justin Gatlin and a number of others, The U. S. Olympic Trials is more pressure than the Olympics.
