Prairie View A&M at Texas Southern Game Thread - 8:00pm CT

This is accurate for LDC.

Sleep is accurate with the overall record, where 1-2 of those games played initially were when sTu was an actual HS. Look it up or talk to one of the last remaining survivors of that era.
What was the question asked?

That’s my SIDE PIECE team. ❤️
Bruh, do you have a therapist that Sleep can speak to? He's having a god awfully hard time holding this L.

Last year, we PVers held our L with grace and planning as we huddled up to usher in hiring a competent leader. Perhaps he and his crew should do likewize, since they turned down coach TJ, coach Chennis Berry, and others more qualified than "dishwater" selling dynamo grass. TH?! 😵‍💫

Therapy sessions will not be offered this season until week 5-6 unfortunately good brother. 47 cut our funds during Elon Must Pyramid scheme purge. Due to this, I have to pay my employees through week to week go fund me donations. These are hard times Brother Leonard.

The best thing I can tell our good brother from the third ward is it’s still plenty of football left to be played. Dishman has a good team. I think he needs to allow his QB to throw more. Also, whatever scheme he’s running in the DB department, either simplify it or turn on the tape. Somebody screwed that one up because you shouldn’t be that far off the ball having PV WR still able to get behind you on the final drive.

With that being said, we just got into September. Teams haven’t even hit their stride yet, we don’t know who is who yet, and we can’t tell whose really good or bad because folks are playing their money games or sac tech A&M school of the blind, relax.

Do you really think my frustrations are about pv? Don't flatter yourself. I don't even see pv as a real rival.

Who you mad at bruh? Your AD is no longer in control, so... what does that mean?

The world knows what sTu needs in order to get over this hump and obviously it isn't talent. I'll leave it at that. Looking forward to picking sTu when conference play starts.

Back then the high schools were not playing that week and we would attract a lot of those kids to the games in the Dome. After the high schools started playing we lost a lot of people that would come to the game. More competition for the entertainment dollar in Houston is tuff.
I'm surprised you haven't mentioned the lack of work by either institution to secure the right partnerships. You use to mention it in the past, both schools let SFA and Sam come in after the fact and get support from the Texan's platforms we should of secured ourselves.

When you consider entities like The Greater Houston Partnership and The Greater Houston Chamber of Commerce were not seriously solicited to sponsor or partner, in some kind of way, it was just a matter of time before a neutral site game would no longer make financial sense for either school.

Unless that situation changes, which I doubt, I agree with others about it remaining a home and home series.

The Texans didn't have a part per se - Lone Star Entertainment is the event arm of them. Someone high up went to Sam or SFA and looked out for them to pump their game for them and they tried others but NRG costs just got too insane to make a profit. The high up SWAC Texans connection unfortunately went away also.

But LSE did work with PV one year and provided some major assets.

First off Thee!! Who the heyal is LEOnard????? Second why TF would you not keep everything in front of you on that play? And thirdly, why would Gram play Langston, then that BiG0 school I hate. Blood bath city. At least we get two games we can judge one up North and one down in the pits of heyal..

Your first and last sentence says it all. LSE begins and ends with the Texans. I've been a season ticket holder since the inaugural season of the Texans. By virtue of that, we got bombarded with emails about that SFA/Sam match up every year. That alone amounted to a captive and target market of at least 75,000 people that like football.

The bottom line is a lot was left on the table when it came to securing partnerships and sponsorships for the neutral site LDC. If the work had been put in back then, even with the schools moving to a home and home series both schools would have potentially developed inroads and long term relationships beneficial to them similar to what your last sentence indicated.

If we had the vision and foresight to just tap into a fraction of the eighty-five plus sponsors The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo has it would have paid dividends for our schools. The good thing is it's not too late now.

got to have an in unfortunately - some people don't want to get into politics but unfortunately, that's the only way most of us can only get ito the room - the 1 or 2 on those boards don't have the overall college football love to fight the issue.

Brother Legend,

I see you’ve used a chronological list like a FAMU alum at a 220 QB club meeting airing their grievances out to Head Coarch Colzie.

1.) I can give you $247 million worth of reasons, but LEOnard is Lenard, resident rope-a-dope “PV” alum/supporter/fan.

2.) Dishman was in his “swac ball bag” good players with 2 cent coaching. Classic SWAC.

3.) Gram needed a stimulus package win early because they’re not scoring a touchdown in Columbus.
