Prairie View A&M at Texas Southern Game Thread - 8:00pm CT

Awww tink tink, you think this is about you. PV is not a measuring stick for tsu's football program success. You're only an indicator of how badly managed it is. You're equivalent to the low oil indicator in a dip stick.
Coach you gotta' come out your feelings mane. 😱👀

The game is over, coach. Y'all have Cal this week, right? Go fuck with them bears like these new age women said they'd choose to hug a bear than a man. 😵‍💫

If you need some help getting over this loss, I can offer my therapist who helped me during that 0-80 run we had. She prolly has grey hair around her cootchie but I'm sure she can still assist. Pretty brown eyes just got a BBL for her 60th last year so I think she is still viable.

🌲👀🌲 lol

Hard to believe we were there for the start of it when it moved from last game of year to first game.

Best thing they ever did with this game. No one was going to it when it was at the end of the season and it was proven again when a certain AD and coach convince that it should be at the end of the year and no one was basically there for that experiment and neither was they.

I hate that there are rumors to move it back to a neutral site game in Houston again. It'll be less folks there than what they think it will be based on this past weekends game.

Neutral site will kill it and help others make $$$ which could have been kept by each school.

We make good with the home game gate, parking, and concessions and enjoy our neighbors when they come to the suburbs, I mean, country. lol

There has only been 40 Labor Day Classic games 21+19=40
This is accurate for LDC.

Sleep is accurate with the overall record, where 1-2 of those games played initially were when sTu was an actual HS. Look it up or talk to one of the last remaining survivors of that era.

Regardless....PV is not about to feel sorry for anyone....We took our azz-whippings during the no-scholarship era...Now it is time to make up some of that ground loss during that period...😁

That happens when folk come in who do not know or understand the history or the culture.

Naw - I know why it went home and home - it was ourselves that did it -

Robertson is the best location regardless but that's not a reality unfortunately
You are too young to remember too. We use to have good crowds in the dome but when the novelty of the dome wore off and neither team was winning the crowds dwindled...to the point of losing money every year.

I attended the first LDC 😂 one was played on a Monday night - my dad had me at TSU games since 1980 I think 😂 I know for sure since 1982

out of all the ones I been to Robertson worked consistently- rice never wanted us, NRG is too expensive now and other places your somewhat capped on crowd attendance if you get to more than 25k

But crazy enough it did make money for both teams in some ways - one minor dispute changed it forever

You over looked the main point that when the games were being held in the Astrodome the crowds were good until the novelty of playing in the Astrodome wore off and neither team was winning. That combination is the primary reason the game was moved to the first game of the season.

That's not what it was. Players from pv made their way to tsu side of the field to taunt tsu's players and fans with middle fingers and f-bombs. Very unsportsman behavior. I was sitting near the tsu 30 around a lot tsu's player's parents and grandparents. It was a bad look. I guess this has become normal behavior for this generation of young adults. If this happened at a pwi institution, I guarantee their would be suspensions. They would not be allowed to disrespect Caucasians like that. So what are our standards if any?
ok. i thought it was just a little talking during the handshakes after the game. didn't know it got like that. but yeah, we see more and more of this today. i saw a vid the other day where a player was talking isht to a coach and the coach was talking back to the kid. so i don't know.

PV is 16-4 in the last 20 years of the LDC

What is the over all record?

The LDC overall record is 21-19 stu

There has only been 40 Labor Day Classic games 21+19=40

No one asked what the LDC record is.

Ok, Sherlock can you follow those quotes above as the conversation between Herbert & I went?

Back then the high schools were not playing that week and we would attract a lot of those kids to the games in the Dome. After the high schools started playing we lost a lot of people that would come to the game. More competition for the entertainment dollar in Houston is tuff.

Coach Jackson needs to address his players after the game antics. A bunch of players ran over to the tsu sideline and fans talking 💩 . That is never acceptable. These type actions can bring truly bad blood to what should be a family rivalry. We are too close together to be openly disrespectful like that.
Y'all could be on the other side of the country and that ain't cool. Yes, he need to address that.

Ouch. an administration like that Totally

It's sad because some of the people there are friendly relationships with. But one clearly sees them make decisions and spin narratives in their own best interests over that of the university.
