Well TP folk on here couldn't grasp what we had been saying all along but at least the NCAA saw what we saw....Justice!.....Now make sure that money and the support needed actually does go to the Victims and/or people in their situation across this country...

Nah, they wanted a man who lied and schemed his way to record to keep it. That's just how "logical" some people are. They wanted his statue down but they wanted his greatest accomplishment to stay intact. :smh: There was NO OTHER WAY TO PUNISH Paterno.

How is vacating some dang wins by players that had nothing to do with this JUSTICE when the people in the administration and the Penn State Board that actually did the covering up are walking around rich, still drawing a paycheck, FREE!! :noidea:

Dude, the NCAA could give a rats azz about "justice". Surely you can't be THIS gullible.

The NCAA was interested in that 60 million dollars to go in it's treasure chest and gaining more power for it's board of trustees.
Folks like you say go ahead and do it with my consent....until they come knocking at your door.

Dude is that the word you chose to use when discibing me? I'm the one who looks into to sh!t before I just up and blindly follow it or DEFEND it, unlike you...Me Gullible...Damn that is the first time anyone anywhere who knows me has ever accused me of that....That is the word if OFTEN use on here though....

And you said some foolishness about all they wanted was the money...well why in the hell didn't they stop there then...

well let me tell you AGAIN....you GULLIBLE folk on here who thought that in no way one could possibly cover something up for such a long term goal of protecting a program, and a man, and a legacy, with an such a Prestigious Record in sight...Lots of you were screaming there is no way they could have been thinking of that....Well like I said many times before...we are the only ones who think here and now and tomorrow is whatever...those folk think long term...that's why they stay ahead of us....cause we so busy being blinded by BS in the present till we cant even see or imagine what is being planed for the future....

Well the NCAA is run by some more of those same folk, of like thinking and they could see past all the BS....So Mr. Mark hit them where it would really hurt...that is what punishments are for...to hurt the criminals, not to be comfortable for them...

And as for your last comment...keep the yo SH!t str8 and they won't have to come knocking at your door....Probably if you disassociate yourself from rapist completely and in a timely manor I'd guess they'd leave you alone also...

I prefer to have a real answer, njot a speach cussing someone out.
Thank you for your co-signing support. :smh:

And I still want a answer to what player covered this up?
Why are the people that did cover this up.......MINUS THE PRESIDENT..........still employed by Penn State and still sitting on Penn State board?

So you want Joe Paterno and his family to benefit from a cover-up? You want Joe Paterno to FOREVER be known as the stadard for a college coach? ..and what evidence do you have that that members of the board did the cover-up? Is the FBI lying for board members. They went thru three million e-mails but none of the board members were implicated, yet YOU thru some mental investigation of your own have found board members guilty.

How about we do this. Let's stick with the facts we have now. What we have now, is enough to punish the Penn State football program and to strip Paterno of his title (that's the main intent of stripping the wins...they don't want Paterno as the face of NCAA football). This investigation is still on-going at several levels. If there are any criminals laying in wait, let them get their just due.

it's hard to punish a dead man

A normal, unknown man. But when your name is Joe Paterno, you can be punished in death becasue your NAME is your legacy. If he had known what this would do to his kids and grandkids, I am sure he would have thought twice. The fact that his grandkids can't proudly speak his name like they used to is punishment. The fact that they can no longer refer to him as the winningest coach at the D1 levels hurts. So while you can't physically punish him, you can punish his legacy and that is what this is all about. In fact, that is part of what allowed a lot of this to continue.

But PLEASE keep in mind that I am not in any way happy about this. I don't like seeing any one or any family go thru something like this.

ESPN radio, SVP show pointing out how the NCAA did nothing about murder at baylor and the subsequent cover up. juxtaposed to how they've handled this and the ncaa looks wildly erratic in how they handle things.

Great Job TP.....hell we becoming so close I might even be able to get you to pull for dem Jags this year...lol....nah I'm just kidding on that...all in good fun with that...

But I don't know why these folk continue to avoid the obvious and see how all this ties in to what the two of us are saying....

Yeah that "Face of College Football" statement should have made it clear to them what the whole goal was...and why again this all ties in to this scandal....

I think they are just so hell bent on being Gullible that it will not allow them to see the truth....

Again never a bad time to Start doing right....

TP................. If you don't know what I have been saying by now about those players did nothing but are being punished, I see why you and MH are on the same page on this.

Everytime someone say that the players didn't do anything, ya'll come in barking crap about we want JOE PA to benifit. Lawd..............:smh:

And when they use these new broad powers to strip our azzes, don't say a freaking word. Just bend over and take it like a man.

But 83...They are not punishing the players....where are they punishing the players? All of them, each and every one of them, can transfer with not punishment...from the ones who just signed, to the 5th year seniors...they all can leave if they choose to with no penalty...They can also choose to stay...their choice...if they behold Penn. State so much and still wish to put on that uni every Saturday they can do that too...no one is punishing these players....

83,
As I posted to you, the players can choose to stay or leave. If they are so outraged with the penalties, they can leave. Without penalty, without sitting out a year. If they are steadfast in their love of all things Penn State, they can stay. They don't even have to play football anymore and their scholly is intact. Their choice.
But these are PENN STATE penalties.

No person shall be deprived of life, liberty or property without due process of law. ~ 14th Amendment to the United States Constitution

We all should read the 14th Amendment especially since it was passed right after the Civil War.

Well, you can't have it both ways. Either Jo Pa loses the record or he forever gets recognized for a title he used a cover-up to get. So which one do you want? Be clear.. dont' beat around the bush with your answer. One sentence should do. I don't see talking wins away as harshly punishing students.

Now, if you are talking about the issue of taking scholarships, bowl games, etc.. that is a totally different issue. Which issue are you trying to discuss?

Robber said that before he knew the details. Penn State was in the back room with the NCAA officials, making deals and signing papers. They had their say. Ya'll act like even if the NCAA held their own investigation that Penn State would have won or something.

And the sad thing is, these folk on here justa debating and defending Penn State and Jo Pa and all up in arms about how wrong the NCAA was to punish them for such horrible acts and the cover-up that came with them.....and all the while...the higher-ups at Penn State have accepted the punishment and are moving on....

lol... and these folk on here with no connects to the school at all on here with their panties in a bunch defending some clowns...no better word...MONSTERS! Sad...

And just think, the NCAA used the very report that Penn State commissioned. Heck, if the NCAA did their own investigation, they probably would've found even more damning stuff.
