Football team, players, and other coaches didn't break any rules but they are about to get hammered for what higher ups did at Penn State. And some of ya'll are cheering giving the NCAA this kind of power to punish people that did nothing.

Ya'll gonna get what you cheer for one day at one of our schools.
This is going to come back to haunt every school in the ncaa one day.

I can't believe some of you people don't think the NCAA should punish Penn State.
:smh::smh:

This school concealed and allowed child rapes for years, all so its football team could "carry on".

Didn't say they shouldn't punish them. Just that they should follow the written process they have.

Crazy huh. The University is directly responsible for the people it hires and if JSU did something like this, I would want us to get punished too.

I think this is WORST than the Death Penalty... now EVERY player on Penn State team can transfer without penalty. Coaches about to raid Penn State team.

Well TP folk on here couldn't grasp what we had been saying all along but at least the NCAA saw what we saw....Justice!.....Now make sure that money and the support needed actually does go to the Victims and/or people in their situation across this country...

Here is the link to my post on what should and would happen to Penn State.

Since the NCAA is hitting Penn State hard, I wonder if they will do anything to Montana. Remember. There was the incident involving the basketball players at Baylor. I am not sure that they did anything to Baylor. There was an athlete on athlete murder at Virginia a few years ago.

Memo to HBCUs
Clean up any mess that you may have. Do I need to say more?

Bill O'Brien, the new coach, knew that this would be tough, but he probably would not have left being Tom Brady's offensive coordinator for this.

Exactly, and I don't want to hear nobody complaining that their school is being mistreated.

again....penn state is wrong. people need to go to jail. people need to be removed from anything involving education, or young people. my question is what did penn state do that broke ncaa rules? which rules did they break? dept of education, I feel you on that. DOE is a whole nother ball of wax.
emeret mentioned ethics and If there are indeed ethics by-laws then that answers my questions.

Dude, the NCAA could give a rats azz about "justice". Surely you can't be THIS gullible.

The NCAA was interested in that 60 million dollars to go in it's treasure chest and gaining more power for it's board of trustees.
Folks like you say go ahead and do it with my consent....until they come knocking at your door.

All these Defense Attorneys on here....SMH....

 And only one is qualified.

Penn State can pay that 60 million fine with no problem. But those scholarship reductions gonna hurt. 111 wins have been vacated.
